Factory Suspended Operations during the G20

The factory are to be suspended operations during the G20

G20 summit will be held in Hangzhou from September 4th to 5th , leaders from each country will discuss important issues relating to the global economy. To meet this important international conference, China will be fully prepared to work and Chinese official statement has ordered 255 factories to suspend operations in Shanghai during the period from August 24th to September 6th t, to ensure that the blue sky and white cloud, the air pollution problems are to be effectively controled during the summit.

The outage will affect all factories within a radius of 300 kilometers around Hangzhou city. In the two weeks in provinces especially in Zhejiang and Jiangsu ,coal-fired power plants within a radius of 300 kilometers will be all the outage. Shanghai area heavy machine utilization rate will fall to the lowest level (30%).
